Keith Samples: President of the Media Rights Capital Television Division
Keith Samples is the President of the Media Rights Capital Television Division. As president, Keith Samples spearheads MRC's television agreements, both the creation of original programming and syndication agreements.
During his time with Media Rights Capital, Keith Samples has been on the inside of a number of well-known television productions, including forming a partnership with Steve Levinson, the executive producer of the hit series Entourage as well prominent writers of the Sopranos series, Diane Frolov and Andy Schneider. Keith Samples has also formed relationships with top creative talent Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky.
Prior to his career at Media Rights Capital, Keith Samples was an independent film producer and director. With over 25 years experience in the entertainment industry, Keith Samples has worked on over 40 episodes of network and cable television programs, including The Practice, Homicide, and HBO's Oz. In the movie side of the industry, Keith Samples is known for films like Election. He also wrote the romantic comedy A Smile Like Yours. Keith Samples is also the founder of Rysher Entertainment.

Keith Samples joined Media Rights Capital after working as an outside consultant for the company for The Office, the popular NBC comedy featuring Steve Carell. Keith Samples negotiated with NBC Universal, the series star, Steve Carell, and creator, Greg Daniels, on behalf of MRC to obtain rights to the show. Keith Samples is quoted saying "I went to them and said, 'I think the value of the show is worth more,' and asked if they were okay with me looking around for aggressive ways (to boost the price); they were. It was a good alternative. It was presented (to NBCU) and passed on. It's pretty simple when you cut through it all." The deal Keith Samples cut between Media Rights Capital (MRC) deal and NBC Universal is estimated to be about worth $2.2 million for each episode.
Keith Samples has held leadership positions in a range of related fields, including as a studio executive, writer, producer and director.
